Originally Recorded in 2010 - on 2 Korg D1600 16-Track machines in a house. Mastered by Adam Ayon at Disc Makers.

ReMastered in 2024 with Reaper. (This is The Remaster)

History: This was Sweet Nasty's second record and was mostly recorded in my (Mike's) house in Prescott Valley, AZ. Drums were recorded at Kenny James house in his large living room. I engineered, recorded, played drums, mixed, and produced this record. We started the album on my original Korg D1600 recorder and quickly realized that 16 tracks weren't going to be enough. So, I bought a second (identical) machine and we hooked them together for perfectly sync'd 32 track recording! Some of the songs on this record are using all 32 tracks, most are not. Aside from the drums, the rest of the tracks were all recorded in my house (living room, bedroom, control room). Some of the gear used includes; Focusrite Platinum Preamp, Focusrite Green Preamp, and AKG414 Mic (vocals). We also had 2 fantastic guest musicians on this record. Tres Ikner played all the keyboards, and Jill Wood sang backup vocals on a few songs.
This Remaster is very subtle. It was originally mastered by Grammy Winning Mastering Enginner, Adam Ayan, at Disc Makers, and it sounds great as is. But there was always a bit too much low-end (my fault, not theirs). So that's what this remaster does, it cleans up the low-end a bit and brings the mids and highs up a little.
